Wales I've only recently started visiting Wales, as a result of going on a workshop with Steve Lewis organized by Welshot Imaging. The weather was not kind to us, it poured with rain all day but such was the camaraderie this has been the beginning of a great friendship and association with Welshot - further workshop at Trefor and forthcoming at Newborough & Llanddwyn Island, Anglesey - Watch this space !.

Mendip Landscapes The countryside around my home on the Mendips is designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and rightly so. I'm fortunate to live in the middle of it all, a short drive in any direction opens up different views and a great subject matter. Of course I have my favorites and they change as the seasons do.

Ice Formations The cold winter of 2008/2009 was a photographer's dream here in the UK. Day after day there were new delights to make pictures of, always with the thought there may be a sudden thaw, and tomorrow it would all be gone. I took so many pictures and have a backlog to add here, do check back again - it may be another 18 years before we see these conditions again.

Water The inclusion of water in a landscape, or close-ups of it swiftly flowing over a rocky stream bed, it always draws my attention more than many subjects. This gallery features images of the latter, I love playing around with shutter speeds, flash , camera position etc.
